Very good post, Mick!  I couldn't have said it better myself:)  Wow, you know 
it 
took me ten or more years to realize that GOD saved me:)  Ha, ha, ha.  What a 
relief that I don't have to save myself or endure in my own strength!  God 
does it 
all, including giving me the gift of perseverance and actual, real 
sanctification that 
sets me apart from the world.
I've been teaching the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith in my Bible 
study 
at the Chapel.  My attendance has suddenly jumped from 5 to about 25-30 
inmates!  They love it.  They haven't heard anyone teach on the total 
sovereignty 
of God before.  They are amazed when they hear how God decreed their election 
from the foundation of the world:)
God's ways are a mystery but they are also plain as day.
