You have it, Chris:) I am the only Christian in my immediate family. My
mother
and stepfather are not saved. I am the oldest of 7 children, three brothers
and
three sisters, and I am the only Christian. I've witnessed to them many
times over
the last 12 years I've been a Christian. I've prayed for them on a weekly if
not daily
basis for conversion and salvation but to no avail so far. I can only
conclude that
God, at least for now, has turned them over to their own sinful desires.
I haven't given up hope, though. God is able to save any sinner. It is just
a matter
of when and perhaps if. But the bottom line is that I have to serve Him
whether or
not my family members ever accept Him as Savior and Lord.
God bless you!
Sincerely in Christ,
Charlie Ray,
Chaplain
1 Timothy 4:16
Watch your life and doctrine closely.
Persevere in them, because if you do,
you will save both yourself and your hearers. (NIV).
