You were a little misleading when you said you put an integra motor in a
civic and bingo, ran 12's. The integra motor puts out 170 horsepower in
GS-R trim, at the crankshaft.. that's probly less than 140 at the rear
wheels. Whatever you guys did to your motor added another 50 horsepower.
When you wrote your original message, it sounded like you threw a stock
motor in the car.
A stock Civic has approximately 95 horsepower at the rear wheels. Adding
100 horsepower isn't gonna drop the 1/4 mile time 5 seconds. Did you
guys do something else to the car?
Argh, I keep saying "rear wheels" make that "front wheels".
