JF> What about the Sega Katana?
I hate sega.
DM> Yeah, you're right. Panzer did look good. I just forgot about it.
DM> I liked that fisrt racer that came out for it too. saturn rally?
JF> I think you mean Sega Rally, and that wasn't the first
JF> racer for the system (didn't it come out in 1996?). I
JF> couldn't tell you what the first racer actually was, but I
JF> know SR wasn't it.
Well It was a good one. It was the game that they left on at the
stores so you could demo it. You know...
JF> Ah, but Samurai Shodown 64 probably won't "cheat" and
JF> keep you facing your opponent!
JF> There are plenty of original features, if you'd care to look.
JF> Virtual On, for example; you have near-total freedom of movement, and
JF> it focuses more on projecticle combat. Bushido Blade was
JF> basically the first fighting "simulator," as one blow could
JF> end the fight and the game was largely defensive. That's
JF> not a little difference, that's a big one.
That's exactly waht I meant. Each game has ONE little improvemnet of
it's own. But there since fighters came out the biggest new feature
was the FATALITY! You could say 3D, But they don't oplay in 3D, they
just look 3D.
Like in MACE, the background is sort of interactive. But it happens
once in a blue moon. And it doesn't affect the gameplay. I'm not dissing
them or anything.
But look at it this way, ANd Look at capcom.
Q: What is there new game?
Street Fighter 3, street fighter meets X-men ultra turbo to the tenth
power? What is so different from regular good old Street Fighter two.
A: Souped up graphics and a few different combo moves. Ryu will never
grow up. Oh yeah! Sorry. You can't forget the differnet ending.
... Discretion is advised but will be tottaly ignored! -Degeneration X
