Well said, sir! Like it or not, MASM is the standard, and it seems
that PB works well with MASM. If NASM doesn't work well with
PowerBasic, it is NASM that should do the changing. This works both
ways. If I were to say "Gee, Mr. Zale, I just discovered that PB/DOS
makes files that I cannot edit with EDIT that comes with MS-DOS 6.22!"
(A made up example; they work fine together) I would expect you to
say "Oops! EDIT is the standard ASCII text editor in DOS. We will fix
PB ASAP." I would *NOT* expect you to say "Well, Microsoft screwed
up, so they should recode EDIT to work with PB!" The tail doesn't wag
the dog.
