That's very interesting! Are you sure that you've inquired of the right
person at "NASM INTERNATIONAL"? Surely they must be mildly interested
in compatibility with the real world of commercial software, aren't
they? It just seems you wouldn't get very far asking them for a "BUG
FIX" to their product "NASM", by repeating it over and over and over and
over and over and over here in the PowerBASIC Group. I'd be willing to
bet that some folks here are getting mighty tired of your continuous
complaints. I know I am.

We tried very hard to be courteous to you the first time you asked about
it, months ago. The second, third, fourth, and fifth time, too. And
many more times after that, as well. But we can not re-write our
compiler just to accomodate a workaround for a bug in a shareware
product, when only 3 or 4 of our customers care about it. That would be
commercial suicide, and it simply won't happen. If we did that
regularly, we'd be out of business overnight, and there would be no
PowerBASIC compiler at all. Is that your real goal?

Sir, we do offer application technical support for a fee. If you would
like PowerBASIC to write specific code for you, that is available, even
code to workaround another's bugs. But there is a charge. You can
discuss it Monday by telephone at 408.659.8000. Unfortunately, the
purchase of a single shrink-wrap software package does not entitle you
to an unlimited, no-cost, consulting contract for life. I must say that
your notion that it should is just slightly bizarre. No insult or harm
was intended, it's just a simple matter of fact.
