Only one problem: most game ads tend to show you the best-looking parts of
the game, and those only in short bursts. I'd rely more on a magazine CD
like Next Generation's, where they actually show you extended gameplay clips
that reflect the general experience of playing as a whole (not some
adrenaline-fueled exaggeration on TV).

You apparently are a rare breed, then, as I know multiple people who
actually own their games. Almost all my games have been bought, not copied.
It helps that I have a twin brother who likes games as much as I do, and a
sister who wanted Diablo like nobody's business!
