I'd just like to expand on this a little .....

I'm doing the initial testing under Windows simply because I find it much
more convenient to do so. As soon as I have a fully configured and working
version, I'll transfer it all over to my MS-DOS machine for exhaustive
testing.

CB> Hmmm. Well, as long as you don't need Fido-over-IP,

I *do* need Fido-over-IP and I don't see a problem with that, although I
have to admit that the built-in Fido-over-IP in the Windows and Linux
versions is very desirable and a breeze to set up.

 CB> UUCP-over-IP

Personally, I don't need that.

 CB> or the internal clients,

External clients shouldn't be a problem but once again, I admit that the
built-in POP3/SMTP/NNTP in the Windows and Linux versions is also very
desirable and also a breeze to set up.

We shall see ;-))

OK, thanks.

New snapshot (openxp-3.8.14-27.dos.rar) just downloaded and installed and
I can confirm that DEBUGLOG.TXT no longer contains the mouse coordinates
reporting. However, I still get the crash which I reported yesterday.

Regards,
Martin
