I'm a big Mickey fan, too, and I even role-play him on EntertainMuck on
the Internet.  We're about to chat with the voices of Mickey & Minnie on
EMuck -- Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor!  See the other messages I've posted
today in this echo for the details about that.
My wife, son and I have a lot of Mickey things in the house (and outside
the house, too!) as well as other Disney Character things.  I don't have
the problem you do, because we all love Mickey and the other Characters.
The only problem we have is our budget!  8=o)
I agree with what Carol Brock wrote -- take your hubby to Disneyland or Walt
Disney World and maybe he'll start feeling the same way you do.  8=o)
