GM> Look, if you use PB, that means that you are a programmer of some sort.
Not necessarily. I have registered versions of TP, TC and TASM but I
on't
call myself a programmer of ANY sort and simply play with them as a pure
hobby. Actually, I think I also paid something for an earlier version of PB
and, of course, QB for running programs came with DOS, just as GWBASIC used
o
do.
GM> It's a great product at a great price.
You are right about that. I just received a notice from PB of the
availability of the latest version for a reasonable price. Trouble is, I am
only a hobbyist and one modular BASIC now bears little resemblance to another
beyond a few VERY basic things and they didn't indicate that there would be
any tutorial or examples such as the Borland products usually have. Does
anybody know about this. That is one reason I linked to this echo again. I
have an aftermarket book or two on QBASIC but that would do me know good if I
paid the $59.00 price for PowerBas.
Sincerely,
Frank
