Perhaps not, but as of last week, they are again permitted to trim
women's hair.
For those not aware of this particular controversy, a woman who is
*extrememly* active in the rec.arts.disney.parks usenet newsgroup was at
the park one day, and at a friend's urging, got a simple trim on her
fairly short hair.  It was just what she needed that day to pull her out
of a small depression, and she raved over her treatment on the 'net.
As if were didn't already suspect the suits were lurking, word quickly
came down from on high that women in a barber shop in 1890 were not
appropriate and would thereafter be considered "bad show" and cause for
diciplinary action.  This too quickly hit the 'net with a major SPLAT!
Funny, but once again, women may now get trims so long as it doesn't
require any fancy work.  Vive le differance!  Vive le indecision!
