Subject: Any way to idle a harddrive in DOS?
 
        I have a Compaq notebook computer I prefer to use.
The hard drive will constantly run unless I pull the plug and
have it run on the batteries, even then it take some time to
decide to idle it.  Is there a command one can give to the
system that will idle it?
