Hi Jerry,

Replying to a message of Jerry Gause to Mike Burgett:

Tried it, but it had a nasty habit of leaving sockets laying around in a
closed_wait state forever here.

JG> That's the ftpusers file. The users weren't listed. It seems to be a

Did you create a passwd file, with shells listed for the users? (vague
recollection of doing something like that here...)

JG> I went with Neologic's server. It has been up 24 hrs now and hasn't

Might be the same one I use, Paul Hethmon (sp?) the author? I got it from
Neologic, but I understand he's not distributing it through them anymore.

If it is the same one, yep, it's real stable. :) Been running it here for
quite a while.

Thanks,
Mike
