Ogg format ought to become more prevalent in the future (since it is free
and open source).  I believe that Apple user's might start to recognize the
locked-in approach to ACC format as is the same with WMA.

You should be very happy with either the MuVo or he iRiver.  Both have
wonderful design qualities and features.

Have you heard of the Neuros player? It's similar to the existing Apple
iPod and Creative Zen products.  But the harddrive is an option designed as
a backpack addon if and when desired.  It also features flash memory
expansion.  It also includes "MyFi" which is a built-in FM
transmitter.  I saw it listed for $150usd.
