I have a friend that has a physiatric problem.  I'm not completely sure
of all of the details.  But last I knew they did have a permit to carry
a concealed weapon.  And she did carry one.  I do not know for sure if
they still have the gun.  And my friend has now gotten to the point where
they did injure themselves with a knife.
 
My question is, does anyone in the physiatric or health professions ever
check with law enforcement or anything about any of their patients to see
if the patient has a permit to carry a weapon such as a gun?  Especially
after the patient has injured themselves with a knife.
 
I'm really concerned about this......
