Hi there August

On 23 Apr 03 00:23 you wrote something about *need WAV/MP3 -> MP3 16kbps

I tried the following freeware (GNU public licence) multi-platform program
and it might just be what you need.

 Subj : Free audio editing software
===============================================================================
Hi. I've come across some software called Audacity. I use it for my audio
editing and I've found that it works well. I just thought I'd pass it along as
this software is under the GPL and isn't nagware or shareware and seems to be
able to match plenty of commercial software out there. You can visit its
webpage at http://audacity.sourceforge.net. It is available for Windows, Mac
OS 8.6 - OS X, Linux, and UNIX. I use it and find that it has the features I
really need for my work, like audio amplification, manipulation of the waveform
in terms of amplitude and a fair bit more. Have fun.
