To dumb? Let's review what's gone on here.
Last month I went and looked on the Diamond/Supra web site to find out if the
Express had CID. There was no mention of CID at all, so you'll have to excuse
me for being so damn "dumb" as to turn to the SUPRA FIDO ECHO in an attempt
to find out from someone who may actually use the modem.
Further to the above "dumb action", Craig told me (not even 1 week ago) that
the Express DOES *NOT* support CID. That's all I wanted to know, and that's
all I expected to get for an answer. The last thing I needed was someone who
doesn't even "run a supra" to tell me to check what features my SupraFAXModem
has to determine if the SupraExpress has the feautures I want!
Read that sentence again John. I've been told by you and others to type in a
command on my SupraFAX to find out what features the SupraExpress supports.
Is there a short in someone's logic here or what?
Now who's "more dumb"?!?! Me for asking a question about a Supra modem in the
Supra support echo, or someone telling me I can find out what features a
modem supports by typing a command on a -different- model of modem?!?
As a side note to this whole CID farce, the SupraEXPRESS *DOES* support CID.
Although there was no mention of it last time I checked the Diamond web site,
it's now listed under "New Features".
I'd be interested in knowing where this "FILE" is that tells you everything
you ever wanted to know about Supra modems.... Perhaps you can tell me where
I can get it? I'd be interested in knowing what it says about CID. Or is it
something you just made up to give some sort of support to your above
comment? Considering that you -still- don't state one way or the other if CID
is supported, I'm inclined to believe it's more B.S.....
JR> put it, "stupidity" by using your own head in the first place..
No that wouldn't work because I do use my head. It's people who can't answer
my questions, but who like to "hear" themselves talk that raise the stupidity
level.
