Brian, while your response was informative, it still doesn't tell me what I
wanted to know. I *HAVE* a SupraFAX modem, I *KNOW* it supports caller ID. I
*KNOW* I have to have the service enabled from my phone company. I *KNOW* I
have to run software which has some sort of support for it.
This is *EXACTLY* what I've been using for a few years now. I have A
SupraFAX, I pay for the service from my phone company, and I run software
which has some caller id support. LAST MONTH (as an indication of how long
this has been going on) I asked if the *Express* supported Caller ID.
To anyone reading this, and planning on replying, I was asking if the Supra
*EXPRESS* has caller ID. Let me repeat it again. I WANT TO KNOW IF THE SUPRA
EXPRESS HAS CALLER ID. My question has nothing to do with the SUPRAFAX model
of modem. IT IS THE SUPRA EXPRESS THAT I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT. PLEASE DON'T
TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT MY PHONE COMPANY HAS TO DO, WHAT THE PRICE IS, OR
WHAT SOFTWARE I HAVE TO RUN.
Do you see what I mean about this topic snowballing into a farce? Nobody is
capable of answering my question, but everyone is more than willing to tell
me something about something I didn't ask about.
Now before anyone replies to this message, if you can't tell me for certain
if the SUPRAEXPRESS supports caller ID, don't bother. AGAIN, I KNOW THE
SUPRAFAX SUPPORTS CALLER ID. I KNOW MY PHONE COMPANY HAS TO SUPPORT IT. I
KNOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, AND I KNOW I HAVE TO USE SOFTWARE WHICH SUPPORTS
IT.
I DO NOT KNOW IF THE SUPRAEXPRESS HAS CALLER ID.
