Ah, you were into Sega too? After I went through the NES phase, thinking it
was the hottest machine around, I was introduced to the Genesis. At the time,
there weren't many good games for it... However, I was a firm believer in
Sega's support for the Genesis. When "Strider" came out, I was sold. Then I
was even more impressed by Sonic, the Phantasy Star series, and the EA Sports
series of games. I sold my Genesis years later after I bit the BBS bug and
et
up my own board... video games in general, just lost my interest.
Now, we're in the age of Playstation and N64, and I've played Playstation and
tempted to buy one. The games are just... they rock! FF7 is winning the
affection of my wallet, it may be time to buy another system. :) You're right
though, Playstation games are FINALLY about the GAMES. Unlike the N64 which
almost always advertises its games with technical specs "Expanded memory",
"Hi-res graphics", and the like.
Nick.
