Tom Smith has already fingered me as the perp^H^H^H^H composer of the
song in question; I will just clarify one point. There really was nothing
especially good about either the deal or the guitar itself save for the
color. It was merely one of several Yamaha FG-335SBs in the stock of
Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI, same price as all the others. It was
in my price range, and it played just slightly but still detectably better
than the more normally-colored guitars of that model which Elderly had in
stock. Officially, Yamaha refers to the shade as "Marine Blue."
I moved to Arlington, VA in 1987, and have been somewhat absent from
the filkroom due in part to my classical music activities as a 'cellist -
the Arlington Symphony has (alas) managed to schedule concerts on top of
at least one OVFF - and even more so to the fact that for the past two
years I have been president of my synagogue. (Free time? What's that?)
However, my senten^H^H^H^H^H^H term of office is up at the end of June, so
I hope to get to more cons.

Mike Stein The above represents the Absolute Truth.
POB 10420 Therefore it cannot possibly be the official
Arlington, VA 22210 position of my employer.
