"A Just curious.. What portable players are "A popular amongst the readers in this group? "A Personally, I have a Creative Nomad MuVo "A NX /256. It's a 256meg flash/mp3 combo "A device. I get about 15 hours of play time "A on a single AAA alkaline. It has a "A two-line display. Many features: shuffle "A play, shuffle folder, skip folder, and "A even a Voice recording feature that uses "A about 100k per minute of recording. I just bought my first one. RCA Lyra 256 MB with an expandable memory slot. I also baought two 500 MB Sandisks for my two grandsons. They're all about the same, I think. The memory expansion is just as expensive as the player! I saw an ad for one that had a 4 GB hard drive in it! That would be great for someone who wanted to store lots of stuff. Keep in mind that they'll store data as easily as music. I carry a 512 MB thumb drive around for data storage, so it would be possible to put that plus my music on the 4 GB player. Probably won't do it, though, until my needs for storage space exceed the capacity I've got now. ---* Origin: Big Bang (1:106/2000.7) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 106/2000 633/267 |
