If I remark out STAR.FTP, I get

When I type in:

ppp pp0

it returns a local IP address of 0.0.0.0  IP Address: 0.0.0.0

That apparently means I am not getting a ppp connection with the new
digital switcher ?????

NOTE.... all my settings are exactly as given in SSTAR's model program..
and the old number (old switch) works fine....
