subject: Replacement heads

Hi, everyone.

Quite some time ago, I purchased a very nice Panasonic KX-T1521
answering machine. It's from Panasonic's Easa-Phone line (wasn't a
cheap model). I got it home, cleaned it up, got new tapes and
recorded a message. The message was quite scratchy, so I'm wanting to
replace both the playback and record heads.

Does anyone know where I could find a beast like that? I have found,
quite happily, that I can get both the instruction manual and the
service manual for it (well worth it), so I can replace everything
myself. Just have to find WHERE to get the heads.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Sean

P.S. You may be wondering why I like an old tape machine instead of a
digital-I can keep messages and I can understand them clearly (digital
machines compress the sound rather poorly).
