Nintendo is the monolith of companies, much like Bell Canada or Sprint.
Sometimes I think that they've hired Microsoft employees at Nintendo,
because EVERYONE there thinks alike - "Build big, promote big, sell big."
They don't care to listen to what gamers want. This is why the Playstation is
a big hit; its all about the GAMES, not just graphics and sounds. Have you
ever sat down and played FF7? I was drawn into the storyline completely!
I remember when the NES came out. Every kid on my block had it but me. I had
the Atari 2600. Months went by, and when I finally got my NES, I beat *ALL*
the games for it, because I mastered my gameplay on the Atari. Atari made
great GAMES, even though it only had 8-color graphics and 3k of memory.
I still play the Atari once in awhile. Brings back great memories...
TTYL!
Nick.
