Hello, Jason.
Replying to a message of Jason Vierik to August Abolins:
JV> Lower quality at 128-bitrate?!?!? thats CD quality..
Not really. ;)
You see, 128kbps encoding causes the music to sound more boomy and tinny
because of the small amount of samples taken. Remember, when you compress
music, it does lose some of its quality.
I prefer 160-192kbps encoding; it gets rid of the "boominess" and
gives the music more quality, IMNSHO, of course.
Later,
Sean
