Well although the playing field of SNES Doom was bigger than 32X Doom (the
playing field of 32X Doom was a little square in the center of the screen
with black surrounding the field, while the field of SNES Doom was
full-screen), the graphics of SNES Doom were quite grainy...it looked like an
eyesore. I never played the 3DO version (and I never even touched a 3DO), but
just about every magazine gave it "da boot" by saying it's a carbon copy of
32X Doom and that the 3DO is capable of MUCH more than the 32X. I think the
top 3 Doom games on console systems are the 2 PSX Doom games ("Doom : Special
Playstation Edition" [I think it had all the levels from Doom, Doom 2, &
Ultimate Doom] and "Final Doom") and JagDoom (the Jaguar version...I have
this one, and I really don't mind the fact that there is no in-game music).
