Baby named after radio station

A Clifton Forge, Virginia, woman who agreed to name her baby after a radio
station in order to win a contest and NASCAR tickets has delivered her baby
and held up her end of the bargain.

Sherry Gibson delivered Allison Jane K-92 Gibson in a Roanoke hospital on
Monday. Mother and baby were visited by WXLK DJs “Danny and Zach”, who had
hosted the contest.

”In the event she wants to drop the name as she grows older, I’ll leave that
up to her,” Ms. Gibson told reporters, “As for now, I’m going to keep it how
it is.” Gibson added that she and her husband are both NASCAR fans and she
hopes her daughter will grow up to be a race fan as well.
