 JV> No, you are no longer required by the FCC to keep a log of your
 JV> stations activities.  I do log grid squares for my 6 Meter SSB and CW

So, just like no longer needing to learn Morse, or how to make a
transceiver from scratch, so is
gone the log book unless for personal interests?
