Here's one I thought the readership of this echo might find interesting.
I just heard about it on the radio this week, but apparently it was
reported in the local papers. I found a short synopsis of it on the
Orange County Register's website at www.ocregister.com.
San Juan Capistrano, California: The school district has decided not to
take any screaming, etc.. of parents. A new policy requires that parents
remain civil during conversations with all school district personel,
including teachers, administrators, janitors, etc...
Parents who shout and become uncivil will be asked to leave campus. If
they do not comply, the police will be called and they will be charged
with a misdemeanor.
