While instructing computer classes, I've occasionally touched on the topic of
Animation using computers.  I've had some fairly cheesy demo programs that

used to make points on in the past.  However, while trolling the Web, I found 
a
site that has a selection of -really- neat 2D and 3D animations on it,
available for downloading free.  All you need is a reasonably fast computer.
