    I deleted the ATZ| from Init 3 and it did no good.  I then did as you 
suggested and it still would not answer the call.  I then re-installed the 
"USRobotics Courier DS V.Everything 28.8k" modem in
"Applications/Internet 
Line specific/Modem" and it works. :-)  It now answers the call.

    Still not running right though.  When I call in, it answers with a 
"connect 24000/ARQ/V34" line and immediately terminates the call. :-(  Any 
ideas?  Maybe it has something in the EXEBBS.BAT file:
