You sound like you're only going to do that as a test. I have done tests
myself to see that it works, what I don't know is how it goes under live
usage.
I am now confused as to what you are trying to do. I will give you a set
of questions/suggestions/etc.
1. Do you want to point off me or not? (if yes, you should get hold of
"TMLJOIN.TXT" from me either by FREQ or download from file area
1).
2. Do you want to maintain your 712 node number or not? (if yes, there is
no reason to point from me, if you want to collect/send mail to me you can
do so without becoming a point).
3. Do you want to use Tobruk to process your mail? If the answer is yes,
you will need to use the *.MSG messagebase.
4. Do you want to use Msged to read your mail? If so, you will need to use
*.MSG if you are using Tobruk, Quickbbs may or may not work, but you need
to use something (unknown) other than Tobruk to scan your mail.
5. Are you going to try to get Devil Dialer working?
6. If you are going to point off me, are you going to try to use a variant
of DD to get the mail?
BFN. Paul.
