Hello All!

I'm pleased to announce the release of the first "true" FreeXP,
which is a  
FreeWare DOS-16bit version of CrossPoint. It is what's known as a  
developer snapshot but having said that, it is rock solid and extremely  
reliable. In addition, it is extremely well behaved in a DOS box under  
both Windows and OS/2.

This release consists of improvements on several existing features and a  
multitude of bugfixes.

Improvements include:
        - Vastly improved performance under Windows NT/2000/XP
        - Complete re-write of Nodelist and Pointlist handling.
        - New Nodelist browser/lookup function.
        - Error free handling of the new format R24 Pointlist.
        - Much improved memory management.
        - Improved English online help (much more work still to do).
