RM> Pretty well.. Good classes/kids.. Due to some OTHER

RM> We're converting our physics lab program from Apple
RM> to IBM.. I'm cobbling together some 386 and 486

RM> gathering probes, etc, and write up a lab program.

SK>Don't you hate that? I was involved in something like that
SK>this summer. People were dragging their feet and I feared
SK>it might be delayed until the beginning of the school year.
SK>So I shared that "I'm worried about the delay, and if it
SK>doesn't start soon, I might have to bow out, since I won't
SK>have time after the school year starts".
SK>That produced some action.
I should be so lucky.. I put in the proposal before
we left for the summer; got it back for "revision"
late July! By the time I jumped through everyone's
hoop, it was August, and THEN everyone who could
ok it was away for THEIR vacation! We finally got
the whole thing ok'd and ordered evaluation software
a couple days before school began.. THAT stuff just
arrived (actually, we haven't gotten ALL of it yet).
We're ordering the hardware we need next week, and
we'll be finalizing the software in the next couple
of weeks.. THEN we get to install and setup all the
IBM computers, remove the Apples, etc.. I figure
it'll be Christmas vacation when this gets done...
Grumble, grumble....
