Really dug getting your message, man.
Aside from the benefit I got from the Jazz lesson (sorely
needed), I got a kick out of whatcha had to say. What was that - some
sort of an improvisation on a Psalm of David or something? I'm still
getting a giggle out of that. Pretty good.
Hey, what instruments do you play; and what part of Texas areya
hailing from - I dug NorthCentral, which is not too far from here in
Northwest Arkansas.
'Nother thing I'm wondering is what kinda scores and stuff you
might have. For example, I've been desperately in search of some like,
original Jelly Roll Morton scores. And I'm wondering if, like, anybody
has some, how they could be put into cyberspace so I could download 'em
from one of these FIDO BBS's, or like through my E-Mail server.
What kind of music you into?
Me, I'm eclectic as all get out and play everything from like,
Delta Blues, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Fifties-Sixties Rock, Grateful Dead
and Airplane, and of course, now I'm doing my best to study Jazz. What
I am just really, really, really needing to find out about is Bossa Nova,
like what kind chords those cats use, for like, all that Jobim and
Gilberto stuff. Can you Help?
