Nuts!
Couldn't get what was in the paste buffer to transmit. Anyway you
will find an attempt at a graphical representation of a staff in another
message; but the bass run got cut off. It was E,F,F#,G. Okay, I want to
play chords that follow the same ascending pattern. What I got so far is
C,F,F#dim,G7+5. Okay, guess I'm satisfied with the C and F but would like
an alternative to the F#dim and G7+5 with strong voicing either in the bass
or the midrange. I'm trying to approximate something I heard on a Mose
Allison record but am too ignorant to know what it is. Well, at least I
was able to figure out "That's Right You're Not From Texas", by watching
Lyle's fingers on video. Pretty smart, eh?
Hey, I really appreciate the help I been getting around here. In-
cidently, what I been talkin' about is another message that had the melody
for "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" by Duke Ellington. Then i changed the
subject and started talking about Lyle Lovett; then i tried to explain
just what in the dickens I'm doing here; and then I went
zippppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp.................
