Well here we are.   I've just taken a look at the email that has come in from 
Mark about his wife, Carolyn.  Let's look at them:

This is going out to all in my address book.  I have just found out that my 
wife has agressive cancer.  She is at this time being admitted to the 
hospital. The prognosis is not good at all.  The cancer is in her brain, 
lymph nodes, and lungs.  (She has never smoked.)  Please keep us in your 
prayers.

Carolyn is in  better shape right now.  THey have gotten the pain down
so she feels better.  They took a lot of tissue from her lungs, and
have will be doing some in her abdomal area as well.  Her radiation
treatments start Monday for the brain tumors.  We have told the
doctors that there is to be no heroic measures taken.  God is in
control here, and if He calls, she is ready to go.  I know she doesn't
want to hurt anymore.  SHe has been in terrible pain.  I am working to
keep my mind clear.  We are in inventory here, and I am the one
primarily responsible for it, since I am the one who makes sure what
comes into the store.
You may pass this message around if you want, to let the others know
how she is doing.  I just am not up to sending mail to all right now.

Hello All!
I "spoke" with Mark and Carolyn Holland's oldest son, Joshua on ICQ today.  
He is home from his job in Arizona to be with his mother, two brothers and 
dad. He seems to be a pretty "level headed" kid that Mark and Carolyn can be 
proud of.  He really, truly loves his mother and was quite surprized when 
some "granni" sent a message that said "Talk to me!!!"  I thought it might be 
Mark checking email, but it was Joshua. <  It was good to meet him.
Joshua told me his mother, Carolyn has been having a great deal of difficulty
breathing, and that all radiation treatments have been stopped.  The pain
relief is being continued to the best of the doctor's abilities.  The three
boys and Mark are taking "shifts" being at the hospital at Carolyn's side 24
hours a day now.
Please, keep this special family in prayer.  The L-rd knows their needs, and
and Carolyn's are certainly many!
At our church here in Lakewood, Washington, we have prayer meeting at 12:00
Noon PST (-0800 GMT) each day.  I am in fervant prayer for Carolyn, Mark and
their three sons happen at that time.  If you could take a moment to "join" 
us wherever you are in the world at that time, even if it's just a "L-rd, I'm
thinking of the Holland Family" would be most appreciated.

Shoshona, we are talking a matter of TWO WEEKS!!!  A Beautiful, Vibrant 
woman, less than 6 months ago, reduced to a shell from cancer.  I feel it 
will only be a matter of a few days if not only hours before Carolyn leaves 
us behind.
As I stated above, our church here in Lakewood has prayer meetings EACH and 
EVERY day at Noon, PST, where I am praying for the Holland family.  During 
our mid-week worship service tonight, a great burden for Carolyn came to me 
during altar call about 8:20pm .....  We've become quite close ..... I'd ask 
that you might join us in spirit at Noon each day as the vigil continues.  I 
find that I am in prayer almost continually at this time.  Her time must be 
very, very near .....
Oh, L-rd have YOUR way in all things!
