What engine does it have? The StRaNgE OHC-6 that Jeep made? I have heard some 
horrible things about this engine, and that getting parts can be a problem. 
What is the body/interior like in it? If it has the OHC-6 it is probably 
something I would shy away from at that price.

That depends, do you like searching for non-existant engine parts? You must 
like pain and suffering (otherwise you would not like having a /0 after one 
of your node numbers :).

I Think they used a Borg-Warner auto trans which for the most part are fairly 
sturdy.

If you take the whole thing to a trans shop probably close to a grand (extra 
work because of 4 wheel drive), unless you go to AAMCO, then double it.
