Having been on literally 10s of telnet boards (sarcasm)...I think it 
depends on the sysops. They send out full paths sometimes even.

I'll agree that sometimes all that clutter makes it hard to read this 
stuff. Myself, I wipe out as much as I can before quoting, and I set my 
reader for colors. It helps.

Sheet, as many accidents and mishaps I've had over a lifetime, it's 
often hard to claim any one happening for any one pain though.
