Back when I had a lawn, I never did try that. We did have plenty of
various weed type plants. Now that we have moved to an independent
living retirement community, I no longer have to worry about lawns (or
snow).
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
Title: Quick Chicken Pot Pie
Categories: Chicken, Pie
Yield: 4 Servings
2 oz Butter
1 sm Onion; minced
10 oz Cooked chicken
1 cn Condensed cream of * soup
4 md Boiled or roast potatoes;
Cubed
1 cn White corn; drained
1 1/2 t Everglades Seasoning
5 oz Bisquick
4 oz Milk
Melt butter and wilt onion in it. Add next 5 ingredients, mix
lightly, and pour into greased casserole dish. Mix Bisquick and
molk; spread over casserole or drop by spoonfuls as for dumplings.
Bake at 350F for 15 min.
* original recipe calls for cream of chicken soup; I think it would
go better with mushroom, celery, or even broccoli soup.
