About the Usenet bit, I was talking about the messages you'd be sending me
through to go onto Usenet, re the comp.lang.c bit and so on.

Also, I know I can toss Fidomail through Linux because I've already been
doing that, as a node in N712.

About the PKT->QWK converter, it wouldn't work because I still have to
take out the Usenet stuff before I put the rest through the converter,
bringing us back to square one.

I've had an idea which may work, which involves giving the Usenet side of
things a separate point number or something, tossing everything as Fido
stuff through Tobruk, packing up the Usenet, and feeding it through the
gating software.  Convoluted, but it might work.  I'll have a look at it.
