TL> DS> I just use the command IMCONFIG /nc to compile my nodelist from > DS> nodediffs. TL>Thanks....I believe I have the nodelist problem solved....now it's >getting Winxp to talk to the external modem that I found. I'm running W98, so I don't know if I can help or not. I know IM will work on ports 1-4, but not sure about others (non-standard). As noted, I have an internal US Robotics PCI modem, but in my CMOS setup, I have comport 2 disabled. When IM loads, though, it finds the PCI modem, and all is OK. The funny thing with my computer tower...I have a connector for comport 1...which I use for my ham radio TNC with a packet door I have online. But, there's no external "connector" for comport 2...so, that's why I have the setup that I do. --- * OLX 1.53 * Your E-Mail has been returned due to insufficient voltage * PDQWK 2.52 #5 --- GTMail 1.26* Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS, Little Rock, Arkansas (1:3821/33.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 3821/33 382/61 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
