Ok.

Ok, I've made that corresponding change.

I'm surprised. I thought they were all prototyped. Can you give me an
example of an error you were getting?

MS> (illegal instruction) in mbaseAccessMessage() on the rewind() call
MS> near line 285.

Ok, this will be because it failed to open the file, and I haven't got a
check in. But I didn't think it would fail. Can you put a check in
mbaseOpenMessage(), just before the fopen(), put in printf("buf is
%s\n"); and then just after, put in printf("pointer is
%p\n", gmd->fu);

MS> Address 3:711/934.33

You should have WorldRoute as 3:711/934.

MS> EchoArea AUST_C_HERE     C_HERE   -$ 809 934.4 635/514

MS> BTW, what do these numbers mean?

These are addresses. It's saying that you are connected to AUST_C_HERE and
you are exporting/receiving messages from 711/809, 711/934.4 and 635/514.
Since you don't want to do that, you should replace them all with 3:711/934
or 711/934 or 934 (all will work).

BFN.  Paul.
