I loved how he suspended disbelief and let people have their say.

When my kids were born and I was getting up at all hours of the morning, I
used one of those little Sony headphone radios and listened to Art while my
kids fell asleep in the rocking chair. I used to be able to get KFI in LA,
a station in Seattle, and a Portland affiliate from the San Francisco Bay
area.
