Honda's BEST gears are 1st and 2nd in the GS-R's.  When the car hits 3rd
gear and 4th gear (finishing the quarter mile redlining 4th), the car
hits the traps at around the high ninety mile per hour zone.  After 2nd
gear, you're at around seventy miles per hour...the rest of the gears
are not as strong.
