Hi David, > What I don't understand is how to get it to load > programs off your > PC's harddrive, to get them to RUN. Do you have to use > your Commodore > computer to create .d64 files out of your programs, and > then port those > over to the PC, and run them that way ... or what??? Using WinVICE here - has the nice front end to it :-) VICE will directly load from a D64, D71, D81 or T64 image file, in the case of the first three, just attch them as "drives". Otherwise, just browse to a directory that holds your programs & add that as a virtual drive. And load your software directly. > > I have Errol Smith's program that creates and undoes > the .d64 files. > Have used that on my C=128 successfully a few times. Good luck :-) Again, if you swap to WinVICE, the help is mostly intuitive, rather than the DOS version. cheers, Lance ---* Origin: Landover Amiga BBS, telnet://commodore.thebbs.org (3:712/313) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 712/313 848 379/1 633/267 |
