Hello music lovers...

I am sending you this e-mail because a good friend of mine and a
Canadian guitar legend has fallen on hard times. I am speaking of Gaye
Delorme... Some of you who may not know Gaye will have heard "The Rodeo
song"...

He also worked extensively with Cheech and Chong in the 70's and 80's.

Gaye has been having problems with his eyesight for the past couple of
years as a complication of his diabetes. He has, over the past couple of

months, required 3 eye operations, which have left him unable to work
for the time being....

Of course, being a gifted musician doesn't always go hand in hand with
being a good financial planner.... Gaye needs some help.

Last year, Gaye recorded a fantastic solo acoustic guitar album out on
Salt Spring Island at Randy Bachman's (Guess Who) studio. It is a hybrid

cross of flamenco, classical, blues, with even hints of reggae, all
performed on the classical nylon string guitar. The album is called,
appropriately enough, "Beautiful Guitar".

Gaye played here for a small audience last summer, and blew everyone
away with his mastery of the guitar. He also left me with a couple of
cases of his CD's.....
