That's *not* the band "Great Society"; I *thought* it was the Fugs--I have
their first four LP's--but it's not on any of 'em. It *might* be a National
Lampoon Radio Show parody though. "Great Society" didn't do any 'parody'
songs. Come to think of it, it *might* be Vaughn Meader--maybe his follow-up
album to "LBJ Ranch"? (I'm listening to the Fugs "Live at the Fillmore East
At Last!" album right now as a result of that aforementioned check--one the
things I really *like* about talking about records like this...having a good
excuse to dig through the collection and pull out a couple of things I
haven't listened to in recent history...
