Collectable?
I hate to be the one to tell you, but Classical Records are a dollar a dozen.
Most used record stores won't even *take* them if you're giving them away.
With classical CD's going for 2-3 dollars apiece in the bargain bins of most
major electronics stores, unless you've got Enrico Carouso or the like,
ou're
probably going to have a hard time selling them.
*Collectable* records (the kind that are bought cheap and sold dear) include
"Race" 78 r.p.m. records (Blues), "novelty" records, 50's, 60's and 70's
rock/pop/soul of specific artists like Elvis, the Beatles, Frank Zappa, Jimi
Hendrix, many "Import" records, and Audiophile & Quadraphonic records.
Excellent to Near Mint records are the most desirable, but in some cases
(like the Beatles "Yesterday & Today" 'Butcher cover' or early Elvis '78's,
they are collectable in almost *any* condition.
Best of luck,
Walter Five
