Marc... I have a problem that may not be solvable with FNOS :-(... I've been using an ISP just fine up till this morning but I am now suddenly getting a different logon sequence with them. I have been connecting and they would ask for Name and password as expected. Now, I get a line that says (some brand) Pipeline Server and then asks for a password. It never asks for name so the script fails. Looks like they have changed software on me. The Win95 dial up logon still will work but fnos doesn't. I have another server so I thought I'd try them. They have a funny setup. They were a BBS which became an ISP. So, when you call, their software says, "checking for ppp connection... 8 second delay - press CTRL X to abort to BBS". The system apparently never detects that FNOS is a ppp connection and drops through to the BBS :-(! Any way to solve this? This really is the provider I prefer to use. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using fnos16a5.
